Legal operations · Higher education

Where law, policy
and institutions
meet.

I'm Darren Wibberding, a litigation and records legal professional who turns complex legal obligations into organized, practical action for a public university.

Complex work becomes manageable when the process is clear.

My career has moved from student affairs leadership and crisis response into university legal operations. Across both, the work is fundamentally about the same thing: understanding people, navigating policy, and building reliable systems for high-stakes decisions.

Connecting legal requirements with institutional reality.

Higher education perspective

A career built around institutional problem-solving.

Experience across legal administration, student affairs, civil-rights compliance, crisis response, conduct, and residential operations provides a broad view of how universities work—and how to move difficult matters forward.
