Public records & legal process
Coordinating Tennessee Public Records Act responses, subpoenas, discovery, authentication, student-record matters, and productions from intake through release.
Legal operations · Higher education
I'm Darren Wibberding, a litigation and records legal professional who turns complex legal obligations into organized, practical action for a public university.
Professional perspective
My career has moved from student affairs leadership and crisis response into university legal operations. Across both, the work is fundamentally about the same thing: understanding people, navigating policy, and building reliable systems for high-stakes decisions.
